Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia Share a Dance

The bad news from last night’s Emmy Awards: Masi Oka did not take home the trophy for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama.

The good news? Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia looked awfully cute together on the dance floor of the Govenor’s Ball after the ceremony.

Take a look:

Milo Ventimiglia Opens Up About Alexis Bledel

Milo Ventimiglia is a private individual.

Good luck getting the Heroes star to talk about his love love. But in a recent interview with Men’s Fitness, Ventimiglia did comment on his break-up with Gilmore Girls‘ actress Alexis Bledel:

“There’s an emotion that goes with that, and it’s reflected in you physically,” he said. “I didn’t really keep myself together as I should have. Once I got through that hardship and emotional hurt, I started wanting to take care of my body more and present myself as a better person.”

It definitely worked, as co-stars and fans can attest to. Especially once they take a look at the picture below, courtesy of this magazine’s photo shoot:

Milo Ventimiglia was an iBook Hero

Before Heroes, there was Macintosh.

In this classic commercial, Milo Ventimiglia stars in an ad for the iBook computer.

We wonder if he took on its fast downloading capabilities…

Milo Ventimiglia on Men’s Fitness Cover

Milo Ventimiglia... Topless!Hayden Panettiere isn’t the only Heroes star worthy of magazine covers.

This month, Milo Ventimiglia graces the pages of Men’s Fitness. Aside from an alluring cover shot (shown below), there are also hot pics of this actor inside, as well as a feature article.

In it, Milo talks about putting on muscle for the role of Peter Petrelli, while also sharing the story of a recent date who said: “So you’re polite, you don’t drink, you don’t smoke, you’re a vegetarian, you keep yourself fit, and you’re successful. What’s wrong with you?”

According to Heroes creator Tim Kring - and most of the female population - the answer is: nothing at all. Here’s what Kring had to say about the star:

“Milo’s going to have one of these huge careers that is very much in the director-actor-producer category. He’ll be able to control his own projects. He’s a very impressive guy.”

Milo Ventimiglia Speaks on Heroes Success, Spoilers and More

What makes Heroes such a success?

Milo Ventimiglia PictureThere are numerous factors, from the acting to the production. to the writing. In an interview with BBC News in England, though, Milo Ventimgilia, cited the “amazing” scripts and a “talented group of actors and production team” for the show’s incredible popularity.

“For us to be sitting in an amazing building in London a year after the show started is very surreal,” the actor said during a press conference as part of the Heroes world tour.

And while he was candid about some inquiries, Ventimiglia was guarded when it came to any sort of Heroes spoilers for season two. For good reason.

“We’re only as strong as the secrets that we keep as a family, understanding that suspense is going to be built. To give anything away would do it a disservice and an injustice,” he said.

Milo gave a similarly vague, albeit well-reasoned, response to a question about characters being killed off, stating that it’s “something we all accept” as a possibility.

“We have these characters that have a storyline which needs to service something much wider than the characters themselves,” he said. “When it’s time to go, it’s time to go. Kicking and screaming isn’t going to help.”

Fortunately for fans, though, it doesn’t appear as though the man who plays Peter Petrelli is going anywhere any time soon.

Milo Ventimiglia Gives Hayden Panettiere a Warning

We know Hayden Panettiere is 18 now.

But, still, the Heroes actress shouldn’t go flaunting her goods everywhere she goes.

Seen here during the show’s worldwide tour, Milo Ventimiglia is trying to warn Panettiere that a certain body part of hers may be exposed. We hope she listened…

Side Boob Alert!

Also in the article, Ventimiglia says the following about Heroes: “What really shows me how successful the show has become is the range of fans: anyone from an 80-year-old woman to a little kid who can barely even open his mouth because he thinks I can fly.”

Zachary Quinto, Milo Ventimiglia Talk About Past and Present Roles

Zachary Quinto and Milo Ventimiglia have established worldwide fan bases after just a year on Heroes.

For the former, however, this wasn’t the first role that got him excited. Aside from a recurring gig on 24, Quinto also appeared on the Tori Spelling quasi-reality show, So NoTORIous. Here’s how the actor described his initial reaction to the role:

“When I first got the script for So NoTORIous, I was like, ‘I can’t believe that in the middle of pilot season when I’m juggling like three auditions a day, my agents expect me to go in on a Tori Spelling show. This is ridiculous!”

After a quick read through, however, Quinto did a complete 180. He loved it:

“I couldn’t put it down! I laughed so hard. I called them back and said, ‘I’m sorry! I can’t believe I was so snotty!’”

Quinto

The versatile actor’s turn as Spelling’s gay pal kept viewers laughing, but failed to actually keep them glued to the TV. Of course, the show’s cancellation paved the way for Quinto to land Heroes‘ Sylar. We think it was a good trade-off.

For Milo Ventimiglia, meanwhile, his path to Heroes was carved as soon as he read the script.

“They had these extraordinary abilities, but what really drew me in was the human story behind these characters, the fact that they have to go through their daily lives with this stigma for being different and just how that makes you live your life,” Ventimiglia said.

We couldn’t have put it better ourselves.

A Look at the New Milo Ventimiglia Movie

The Heroes cast is has already filmed a few episodes of season two, but many of them also spent part of the summer or past year starring in movies that are about to hit the big screen.

Ali Larter, for example, will be in Resident Evil: Extinction.

Meanwhile, Milo Ventimiglia will appear in Pathology. The film is about a group of medical school students who play a game to see which can commit the perfect murder. Sounds intriguing, as Milo stars as one of the students.

Here’s the movie poster for it:

Milo Ventimiglia to Portray Robin?

Hey, it worked for Zachary Quinto.

That Heroes star began lobbying for the role of Spock in the next Star Trek film - and he’s now fortunate enough to have landed that important part.

So, what long-time, well-known comic book character does Milo Ventimiglia wish to play? The answer may surprise you.

Robin Lover During a recent interview to promote his upcoming thriller Pathology, the 30-year-old actor could barely contain his excitement for Quinto’s recent appointment as Mr. Spock. Remembering an early conversation they once had on the Heroes set, Ventimiglia marveled at the fact that Quinto has a chance to portray his dream role.

So, who would Milo be dying to play?

“Robin,” he grinned, referring to the embattled Batman buddy most recently seen in the person of Chris O’Donnell in the late 90s.

When reminded that Dick Grayson typically signals the downfall of a Batman franchise, Ventimiglia insisted that current Dark Knight mastermind Christopher Nolan could bring enough of an edge to the character to make him worthwhile.

The Heroes star told MTV Movies that he was a big fan of Nolan’s Batman Begins - and that if the writer/director ever put out a casting call for a Robin in a future Batman flick, he’d move faster than The Penguin at an umbrella sale.

“They’ve never done it right,” he added, explaining why Robin has always seemed so dorky in the past. Asked how he’d change the Robin story, Ventimiglia offered up a single word that speaks chapters to comic fans: “Nightwing.”

For those unaware of the storyline (i.e. most of us) “Nightwing” is a moniker Robin takes on as a tribute to Superman, then uses while trying to escape from Batman’s shadow. Clad in black, the acrobatic hero is typically associated with The New Teen Titans, and is considerably traumatized when Batman hires a new Robin that is seemingly killed by The Joker.

Sounds interesting. But, as far as we know, there are no plans to hire a new Robin any time soon. So, fear not, Peter Petrelli is going nowhere for awhile!
