Heroes Round Table: Powerless

Welcome to our eleventh Heroes Round Table.

While fans of the show gather in the forums to discuss every character and story line, our staff comes together every week to analyze the latest developments from the latest episode.

Topics in this edition include: Niki vs. Nathan; Adam’s fate; and an Elle/Mohinder love connection. Let’s get to the Q&A…

Sadder to bid farewell to: Niki or Nathan?
A. Hiro: Nathan. Now I’m forced to hope West remains on the show and befriends Hiro, just so we haven’t heard our last “Flying Man!”

Milover: Niki. Better legs.

Timex: Nathan. Niki may be gorgeous, but they’ve been phasing her out this season, so I won’t miss her. Flying Man, farewell.

heroes-rt11.jpg

Who shot Nathan?
Milover: I don’t know who pulled the trigger, but it seems clear to me that his mom orchestrated the assassination. As for whether it was a Bob henchman or the Company man himself that carried out the plot, we’ll have to wait and see in “Villains.”

Timex: Well, we know it was someone from the old generation or The Company if they were talking to Mrs. Petrelli. My guess? The baddest, awesomest member of The Company is back: HRG.

Almost Back A. Hiro: What about some future version of Peter? We didn’t see much of the shooter, but that walk looked familiar. Knowing how gullible Peter can be, perhaps he was convinced that gunning down Nathan was a necessity.

Have we seen the last of Adam Monroe?
Timex: Nope. I’m pretty sure Hiro needs to pick up Season 1 on DVD and realize that Molly can locate anyone.

A. Hiro: No way. The title of the next chapter is “Villains” and it doesn’t really get more evil than Adam. Sylar will find a way to raise him from the quasi dead.

Milover: I doubt it. I’ve watched enough Days of Our Lives to know that being buried alive is just the precursor to an amazing, vengeful return.

Will Elle and Mohinder hook up?
A. Hiro: No. Mohinder doesn’t seem very smart about anything outside of a science lab. Hard to imagine he noticed the look Elle have him at the end of this episode.

Milover: I hope so, and not just because I have a thing for Kristen Bell and want her to get more screen time. I’d love to see these two at home and watch Elle react to future indiscretions by Mohinder. Most of us don’t have the ability to deliver a lightning bolt to the crotch if their partner has a wandering eye.

Timex: No. Will Elle and Timex hook up? Hopefully.

Heroes Round Table: Truth & Consequences

Welcome to our tenth Heroes Round Table.

While fans of the show gather in the forums to discuss every character and story line, our staff comes together every week to analyze the latest developments from the latest episode.

Topics in this edition include: Adam vs. Sylar; Monica’s fate; and Heroes’ fates. Let’s get to the Q&A…

Worse talent: Elle at spying, or Peter at listening to reason?
A. Hiro: Elle has to learn to save the Big Gulp for a post-spying treat… but Peter has gone from a Hero solely focused on saving the world in season one, to a lovestruck robot who seems to care so much about some Irish trollop that he can’t see how his new friend is a mass murderer.

Milover: Elle, although I admit to considerable bias. This question is a toss-up, but I have it from reliable sources that Milo Ventimiglia is a really cool guy in real life, so I refuse to go against Peter in any of my answers.

Timex: Peter. I was ready to strangle him. Elle, you can do no wrong in my eyes.

heroes-rt11.jpg

Better bad guy: Adam or Sylar?
Milover: Sylar. Merely looking at that guy gives me the chills at this point. You’ve gotta to be morally bankrupt to ice some fool and then mack on his sister in the same day. That is some cold $h!t.

Timex: I think I prefer Adam. I might just be a sucker for his accent, but he seems way better at manipulating. I’m pretty sure Sylar’s only been able to manipulate the two biggest idiots on the show - Mohinder and Maya. And really now? Who hasn’t been able to manipulate Mohinder?

A. Hiro: Adam. Sylar is a cool serial killer, for sure. But the murderous Monroe seems to think he’s doing the world a favor (by wiping it out, of course). I like my villains with shades of grey.
First, Fatal Base What will happen to Monica?
Timex: I think she’s going to be initiated into their gang… bang.

A. Hiro: That souped up SUV she was thrown into must have DVD player in it. I foresee those thugs watching a preview of Iron Man… and then paying the ultimate price for it as Monica takes on the unstoppable qualities of that title character.

Milover: We’ll find out in 2009 when they pick this one up. You might assume that Monica, after using her superpowers to help recover the backpack, only to be apprehended, has some tricks up her sleeve. Well, given the way Season Two is going, this story should be dropped indefinitely, then made the subject of an entire episode 18 months from now. Come on, guys.

Slight Heroes spoiler alert: Which two characters, as teased in the preview, will die next week?
A. Hiro: Mohinder’s purpose for being on the show died long ago. The doctor’s body will follow next. While my eyes hope I’m wrong in choosing Niki as the other character to perish, my head says I’m right. Her only real power was pretty being insane anyway.

Milover: Anyone but Claire, Peter, Hiro, Niki, Mohinder, Parkman, Nathan, Sylar, Mr. Bennet or Bob. Save these Heroes and you’ve still got a show.

Timex: Okay, just as a reminder, the preview had Nathan, Parkman, Claire, Hiro, and Elle shown. Picking two of these is nearly impossible, but I’m going to have to go with Nathan and Elle. Parkman is just learning his powers, Claire cannot seem to die, and Hiro is, well, the show. Sorry, guys, we have enough Petrellis and hot blondes without you.

Heroes Roud Table: Cautionary Tales

Welcome to our ninth Heroes Round Table.

While fans of the show gather in the forums to discuss every character and story line, our staff comes together every week to analyze the latest developments from the latest episode.

Topics in this edition include: HRG’s close call; Hiro’s decision; and Elle vs. Bob. Let’s get to the Q&A…

On a scale of 1-10, how loudly did you scream when you thought H.R.G. was dead?
A. Hiro: 6. Not because I wasn’t shocked and dismayed. But because that’s how many windows broke in my apartment at my shrieks that the show would dare kill off its most dynamic character.

Milover: 4.5.

Timex: 11. HRG has become by far my favorite character.  I vowed to never watch the show again when Mr. Bennet’s glasses first shattered.  They producers are lucy they put his regeneration in this episode, and not next, or they would have lost a Heroes Fanatic.

heroes-rt11.jpg

Should Hiro have saved his father’s life?
Milover: No. It was his destiny to die, as his father said. You can’t simply alter that (see Back to the Future Part II) just because you have the capabilities. Here’s hoping our Hiro brings Kensei to justice for this act, though.

Timex: No. I think Hiro has finally understood the concept of destiny and that you cannot change history.  Do I need to sent you the first season of Heroes on DVD?  Or maybe the Back to the Future trilogy?  Not II and III, of course. I’m not that mean.

A. Hiro: I guess not. If Kaito never dies, Kensei is never a murderer and Hiro never makes it his mission to bring him down. And we all know Kensei has got to get what’s coming to him.

Water Torture Will Elle use the information she learned about Bob against him?
Timex: Absolutely.  He’s ruined her life.  She’s a basket case.  She’ll continue to follow him for a little bit longer, but she will ultimately betray Bob for what he has done.

A. Hiro: Oh yes. And, to paraphrase Mr. Bennet, it’ll sting. Like a bitch.

Milover: You knew something would unnerve cold-as-ice Elle and potentially turn her against the diabolical Bob. I didn’t expect it to happen so soon, but this revelation clearly struck a chord with Elle, who won’t be a Company girl for long.

Worse decision: Mohinder shooting Mr. Bennet, or Parkman interrogating Mrs. Petrelli against her wishes?
A. Hiro: Mohinder, to the maximum power. Wasn’t he trying to abduct Claire simply to take her blood and save Niki? So he’s willing to kill HRG in order to save Niki? Sounds like someone has a dangerous, irrational crush to me.

Milover: Shooting Mr. B. Bad form, Mohinder. This is not a man you simply f*%k with. What doesn’t kill Mr. Bennet will only make him stronger, and thanks to the last-minute transfusion of Claire’s blood, it looks like they didn’t finish the job. Prepare to reap the whirlwind, gentlemen.

Timex: Mrs Petrelli may be one scary woman to cross, but HRG eats Mrs. Petrellis for breakfast.  Watch your back, Mohinder. Oh, and if HRG doesn’t kill you, I will.

Heroes Roud Table: Four Months Ago

Welcome to our eighth Heroes Round Table.

While fans of the show gather in the forums to discuss every character and story line, our staff comes together every week to analyze the latest developments from the latest episode.

Topics in this edition include: Bob vs. Adam; Alejandro vs. Maya; and missing Heroes. Let’s get to the Q&A…

Less trustworthy: Bob or Adam?
A. Hiro: Bob. I could never say a negative word about anyone with an accent. Russell Crowe and Anna Friel, I’d trust you with my life.

Milover: Bob. Adam’s got nothing on this guy. Part Dick Cheney and part Cisco Adler, Bob is as shady as they get. We’ve always been aware of the shade factor when it comes to Bob, but his interactions with Peter last night showed us his diabolical side like never before. Plus, he’s got mysterious, lightning-hurling blondes working for him. Bastard.

Timex: I’m gonna go with Bob. Adam is much more charming and has earned my trust.

heroes-rt11.jpg

Which twin annoys you more: Alejandro or Maya?
Milover: Maya. I think we get it, Heroes. Maya cries. People die. The black tears - a nice, freakish and symbolic touch. Over and over and over again. Well done. Cool idea, okay? Are you happy now that you have our praise? Good. Now do something else with Maya, for the love of God.

Timex: Definitely Alejandro. Maya has possibly the deadliest power we’ve seen on Heroes yet. I love the fact they brought her on and can’t wait to see what Sylar does with it when he gets his powers back. Alejandro is just a lame antidote.

A. Hiro: Maya. Your tears kill people. Stop crying.

Which absent main character did you miss the most last night?
Timex: I miss Noah Bennet. I think the episode “Four Months Ago” should have focused on the Bennet’s move. Did they hire a moving company? Did HRG rent a U-Haul to save some bucks? Can we watch his interview at the Copy Kingdom? How did he qualify for a mortgage on such a nice house on a Copy Kingdom salary?

A. Hiro: Hiro. I wanna believe he’s fully back from lame, romantic mode and ready to fulfill his world-saving destiny again. Guess I’ll need to wait a week to find out for sure.

Milover: Claire. I love the ensemble cast (particularly Milo topless) but it’s just not Heroes without Hayden Panettiere, I’m afraid.

Heroes Round Table: Out of Time

Welcome to our seventh Heroes Round Table.

While fans of the show gather in the forums to discuss every character and story line, our staff comes together every week to analyze the latest developments from the latest episode.

Topics in this edition include: Mohinder’s decision-making; Niki’s fate; and two sad goodbyes. Let’s get to the Q&A…

Mohinder told Bob he’s been working with Mr. Bennet: Shrewd strategy to fully earn The Company’s trust, or moronic blunder?
A. Hiro: Mohinder is good with genetics, not decisions. Remember when he initially trusted Sylar? Eden McCain? I wish I could say the good doctor had a shrewd strategy in mind, but history tells us otherwise.

Milover: Gotta be a shrewd strategy. Right? No way he’s that stupid to just blurt that out to Bob. That would be the biggest blunder since I accidentally threw out that Milo Ventimiglia shirtless pic.

Timex: Moronic blunder. Mohinder may be a doctor, but he seems to lack the brains. When will he realize that Mr. Bennet is the man, not The Company? Did HRG tell you to tell The Company you guys were working together? Then, shut up.

heroes-rt11.jpg

Will Niki die?
Milover: Niki’s toast. The only way she lives is if a group of scab writers cross the picket lines and completely alter Heroes while the regular writing team strikes. Wages, schmages. Back to work, losers!

Timex: There’s no way.  Save the Cheerleader, Save the Niki.

A. Hiro: I don’t know, but I either way, Ali Larter naked pics will last forever!

Different HeroesSadder goodbye: Peter and Caitlin, or Hiro and Yaeko?
Timex: Who the hell is Caitlin?  We will miss you Yaeko.

A. Hiro: This is a trick question, right? I haven’t stopped drinking champagne since both these Heroes finally bid farewell to the women that had been holding them back. Seriously. I’m wasted right now.

Milover: Hiro and Yaeko was the sadder goodbye, which is ironic as the Hiro we know and love actually returned last night. Man. Hearing a vintage “Yatta!” out of Hiro brought back memories of the olden days. Ah… April.

Where should The Bennets move to?
A. Hiro: Seattle. There, Claire’s whining abilities can be closely matched by another citizen in the city. Yes, Meredith Grey, I’m looking at you.

Milover: Dillon, Texas. It would be a homecoming of sorts for the Bennets … and also make my TV fantasy come true if Claire joined the same cheerleading squad as Lyla Garrity. Serious cross-promoting potential for NBC there!

Timex: I hear Scranton, Pennsylvania has a booming paper industry there.  Maybe Mr. Bennet can get a nice job working at The Office.

Heroes Round Table: The Line

Welcome to our sixth Heroes Round Table.

While fans of the show gather in the forums to discuss every character and story line, our staff comes together every week to analyze the latest developments from the latest episode.

Topics in this edition include: Claire’s story lines; More mystery from Bob; and glowing praise for H.R.G. Let’s get to the Q&A…

More tiresome story line involving Claire: Her distrust of her dad, or her interaction with another bitchy cheerleader?
A. Hiro: How about ANYthing involving cheerleading? This hobby of Claire’s worked well for that Season One tag line, but here’s a fresh idea for Season Two: Save the Originality, Get Claire the Heck Out of the Role as Social Outcast at School.

Milover: How about the complete lack of Claire on my lap in her little uniform? Just kidding. Not really. Of these two options, the cheerleader cat-fest is much more tiresome. At least Claire’s dad has shady dealings we aren’t yet aware of, giving it an element of mystery. Are we really supposed to care about Claire and that other girl [played by Dianna Agron]? Why does nothing happen on this show!?

Timex: I actually enjoyed the prank on the bitchy cheerleader. Claire needs to learn to respect her dad, he is kind of the man. See question 4.

heroes-rt11.jpg

Bob’s gift of an iPod to Monica: Kind gesture with no strings attached, or part of an evil plan, chock full of ulterior motives?
Milover: Ha, try Option B. Like a payday loan that promises instant cash but is loaded with crippling interest rates on the back end, this iPod is a gift chock full of ulterior motives if there ever was one.

Timex: Bob seems like a good guy. I have nothing but trust for The Company and the virus that they’ll release on New York City. Now the important question is: why didn’t he give her an iPod touch? Clearly money is not an issue for a man with the Midas Touch.

A. Hiro: I think Bob just wants to make sure Monica is listening to the appropriate tunes as she transforms herself into the ultimate fighting machine. We recommend “Kung Fu Fighting” by Carl Douglas.

Who will die first: Alejandro, or viewers from the sheer boredom of his, Maya’s and Sylar’s story line?
Timex: Wow, last night I feared it was going to be me. Can we friggin cross the border already and have something happen? How many episodes must we drag this journey out?

Mylar?A. Hiro: Alejandro is a goner. We know this much for sure. After all, Sylar gave the audience a little speech about it, one that actually was necessary because we were starting to forget that this guy was evil in the first place. Remember when he actually did stuff? That was awesome.

Milover: Alejandro… if only so the story line will also be put to death, this saving millions of viewers from this fate. That ultimate sacrifice would make him a hero among Heroes.

Mr. Bennet is The Man. Discuss.
A. Hiro: Let’s just say I hope Ivan is correct and that there’s no going back now for H.R.G. Who would ever wanna see this intriguing, bad ass of a character act in any other way?

Milover: He so is! With a hilarious Masi Oka and the rippling biceps of a shirtless Milo Ventimiglia, it’s very easy to overlook the job Jack Coleman does as Mr. Bennet. Yet he’s become one of the most compelling characters on the show, week in and week out. I’m curious to see who he shoots next!

Timex: Wow. Anyone who didn’t think Mr. Bennett was The Man surely had to become a believer last night. We still don’t know if Noah has a talent yet, but even if not, who cares, he sure has the talent of torture. Oh, and a Haitian friend.

Heroes Round Table: Fight or Flight

Welcome to our fifth Heroes Round Table.

While fans of the show gather in the forums to discuss every character and story line, our staff comes together every week to analyze the latest developments from the latest episode.

Topics in this edition include: Hiro in Japan; Elle’s father; Sylar vs. Mr. Muggles. Let’s get to the Q&A…

Are you sick of Hiro in Japan yet?
A. Hiro: Hiro? No. This Hiro imposter who is more focused on ogling a woman in Japan than using his unique gifts for the betterment of mankind in the present? Yes.

Milover: Was Hayden Panettiere the hottest underage girl in America until August? Come on. Last year, Hiro was a true Hero… and hilarious to boot! Now he’s merely Samsonite in a bad romance novel. Bring back the Hiro we love!

Timex: Yes. Ever since he got there.

heroes-rt11.jpg

Who is Elle’s father?
Milover: Bob from The Company. He’s real shady, and the introduction of Elle, who tracks down Peter, is just the latest in a string of evil developments that can potentially be traced back to this dude. Which is hard to believe, if only because this actor was responsible for some classic Groundhog Day quotes back in the day as Ned… Ryerson!

Timex: I’m going to have to guess our good friend at the company, Bob.

A. Hiro: Mr. Bennet. I doubt this is actualy the case, but he appears to be the only interesting character remaining, so let’s consider this a bit of wishful thinking.

Dumber move by Mohinder: Trying to free Niki from her restraints, or bringing Molly to The Company in the first place?
Timex: Bringing Molly back to the company! How much work and effort was it to steal her from the company? And now how are we going to have Three Men and a Little Lady without the lady?

Mr. ParkmanA. Hiro: Niki. I’m okay chalking up the Molly blunder to panic over a loved one. But don’t you think The Company has cameras, Mohinder? Or hallways outside that room? Way to blow your cover there, doctor. There’s a bigger cause at stake here than Niki’s well-being.

Milover: Yay. Trying to free Niki. That wasn’t too well thought out. What was the next move going to be, huh? You gotta to think many steps ahead because you know The Company has. Unlike Mohinder, Bob always has a plan. Bing!

Who did you miss more in this episode: Sylar, or Mr. Muggles?
A. Hiro: Sylar. At least he’s trying to get his powers back. I admire the initiative - and hope Hiro, Nathan and Peter are paying attention.

Milover: I missed both of them. This season is far too scattered. How about a little cohesiveness, or some sense of purpose? Right now, what we have is a great cast of characters doing nothing. I thought Grey’s Anatomy was on Thursdays.

Timex: Mr. Muggles! Besides stealing any scene he’s in, we generally get a glimpse of Claire.

Heroes Round Table: The Kindess of Strangers

Welcome to our fourth Heroes Round Table.

While fans of the show gather in the forums to discuss every character and story line, our staff comes together every week to analyze the latest developments from the latest episode.

Topics in this edition include: the absence of Hiro and Peter; Nathan’s beard; and the secret life of the Bennets. Let’s get to the Q&A…

No Hiro or Peter last night. Did you miss them?
A. Hiro: No, as long as each character is making his way back to the States and a more exciting story line. I’m far more concerned about Ali Larter’s presence on the show. Are we sure D.L. was the one who died?

Milover: Are you kidding me? Comic relief from Masi Oka and the chance to see Milo Ventimiglia shirtless are two of the biggest reasons I tune in! Next time you’re keeping these essential cogs in the Heroes wheel on the sidelines, NBC, shoot me an email beforehand so I can go to bed early.

Timex: Yes and yes. They kept me from two of my favorite characters. Hiro’s our light-hearted hero; of course I miss him! As far as Peter, he’s the super hero of the show, even if he is slumming it right now.

heroes-rt11.jpg

Parkman’s father is The Boogeyman. Too outlandish of a coincidence? Or a cool Heroes connection?
Milover: Maybe a tad much, but still a cool connection. Come on. It’s Heroes. You have to expect the unexpected… and that we are all connected.

Timex: When it comes to Heroes, nothing is too outlandish of a coincidence. Need I list all the outlandish coincidences from even just last night’s episode? Alejandro and Maya running into Sylar? Parkman being the detective on the Momma Patrelli case? Nothing seems outlandish at this point.

A. Hiro: I’m a fan of crazy coincidences. Some may even refer to these as fate and, let’s face it, the mythology of Heroes is pretty much grounded in these talented individuals being connected in various ways. But there’s a slippery slope to be careful of here. Next thing you know, Mohinder’s mailman will be the former babysitter of Nathan’s kids and Kensei will be Claire’s second cousin. The show can’t shock the viewers too many times or there’s no way to follow the story line.

Major TensionNathan shaved. Yay or nay?
Timex: I kind of was digging the cuddly, drunken teddy bear look Nathan had going on. But of course he also did look like a creepy hobo when he went to visit his kids through a gate. It’s tough, but I’m going to have to vote yay.

A. Hiro: Nay. I was hoping for a beard-off between Nathan and future Jack from Lost.

Milover: Yay. That was the worst facial hair experiment on TV this fall. Yes, even more of a disaster than Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) on Grey’s Anatomy.

Which secret will be revealed first: Claire dating West? Or Mr. Bennet working against The Company?
A. Hiro: Claire and West. Mr. Bennet will be on to them when he finds the obligatory home pregnancy test in the kitchen trash can.

Milover: Claire dating West. How good are teenagers - even those with regenerative powers - at keeping secrets? Plus, you could tell Mr. Bennet already knows in the back of his mind that Claire is up to something. As for his crusade against The Company, Mr. B. is covering his tracks… for now.

Timex: Claire dating West. I mean, Mr. Bennet is kind of the man. I’d like to think he’s better at keeping secrets than the world’s worst liar. Aquarium? Library? Really?

Heroes Round Table: Kindred

Welcome to our third Heroes Round Table.

While fans of the show gather in the forums to discuss every character and story line, our staff comes together every week to analyze the latest developments from the latest episode.

Topics in this edition include: Hiro’s decision-making; a Heroes couples watch; and the future for Sylar. Let’s get to the Q&A…

Is Hiro messing with history? Should he have returned to modern times?
A. Hiro: No. But he’s messing with the ghost of Charlie. She’s starring on Pushing Daisies now, learning how to come back from the dead, and we all know why: the decreased waitress has a bone to pick with her former, cheating lover.

Milover: I haven’t seen somebody mess with history like this since Marty McFly tried to use that 2015 sports almanac to bet on past games in Back to the Future: Part II. Although the adventures of Hiro are 20 times more fun to watch than that dreck. Way to ruin a great movie with a bad sequel.

Timex: I’m a firm believer that history is going according to plan. I believe Takezo became the Hero he was because of Hiro going back in time and making history what it is today. And if Back to the Future taught us anything, it’s that we would know if Hiro messed with the space time continuum already.

heroes-rt11.jpg

More of a future: Claire and West? Or Peter and Caitlin?
Milover: Claire and West. Did you see that smile on her face when she was whisked away? I must admit, that was a cool scene… and that I was jealous. How cool would it be to cradle Hayden Panettiere in your arms? I mean fly?

Timex: Gross and gross. I’m sorry, Claire is much too good looking for West. She needs a man like me. And as far as Peter and Caitlin? I’m pretty sure Peter can do much better. But if I had to choose one to have more of a future, let’s go with Claire/West. Peter will return to New York and, let’s face it, long distance never works. Even if you can bend the space/time continuum.

A. Hiro: Claire and West. From what we know of Peter’s taste in women (and by that, I mean Milo Ventimiglia’s taste in women), Caitlin is way too old for him.

HeWho should move in with Mohinder and Parkman: Steve Guttenberg, Ted Danson or Tom Selleck?
Timex: Wow, that is rough. We clearly need our third man, so I’m going to have to go with Steve Guttenberg. Clearly, we need some comic relief on Heroes.

A. Hiro: Ted Danson. Kensei and Nathan need a friendly bartender to listen to their horror stories as they get liquored up.

Milover: Tom Selleck. He’s already under contract at NBC, having taken over for James Caan on the perennially mediocre Las Vegas. Let’s hear it for cross-marketing!

Will Sylar ever regain his powers?
A. Hiro: Yes. And he’ll use them to defeat The Others, sleep with Kate and argue with John Locke over faith versus science.

Milover: He’s got to. Last season, Sylar became one of the great TV and science-fiction villains in recent memory, and the show has clearly missed that element in the beginning of Season 2. There’s so much going on, and far too little of Sylar involved in it.

Timex: I sure hope so. We need ourselves a bad guy besides this so called “company.”

Heroes Round Table: Lizards

Welcome to our second Heroes Round Table.

While fans of the show gather in the forums to discuss every character and story line, our staff comes together every week to analyze the latest developments from the latest episode.

Topics in this edition include: Peter’s bare, wet chest; the absence of Niki and Micah; and our feelings on Kensei versus Ando. Let’s get to the Q&A…

Cooler scene: Peter with his shirt off or Claire cutting her toe off?

A. Hiro: Claire. Was anyone else screaming at the TV during that scene, “Grow back! Grow back!” No? Really?

Halo69: Peter. I find his story line among the more interesting of the 76 going on right now. And while I heart Claire, the whole self-mutilation thing is not as big a turn-on as you might think.

HeroesFanatic: I’d have to go with Claire. Those special effects were pretty darn cool. But it’s safe to assume her portrayer, Hayden Panettiere, would go with a half-naked Peter.

heroes-rt1.jpg

Do you miss Niki and Micah?
Halo69: What I really miss are those photos of Ali Larter nude. Can we get those back up on the site? Just kidding. Sort of. Niki and Micah are cool, too.

HeroesFanatic: Yes. Molly Walker looks lonely and I wanna see if those sparks between her and Micah from last season are legitimate or not.

A. Hiro: Do I miss looking at Ali Larter and being impressed by a 10-year old boy that can put together a computer in less time than it takes me to answer this question? Come on. Is West sketchy?

A Masked HiroDoes Bob (from The Company) have the best interest of those with special abilities in mind?
HeroesFanatic: Only if their best interests involve being tortured and experimented on.

A. Hiro: No. I trust this guy about as much as I trust reports that Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia are dating. Come on. He’s 30!

Halo69: Get outta town with this question. Bob is shady to the max. The better question is whether he is playing Mohinder or vice versa.

Preferred partner for Hiro: Kensei or Ando?
A. Hiro: Ando is loyal and good at speaking Japanese. But which of these sidekicks would you prefer to have a drink with? Enough said.

Halo69: Kensei is a cool character, but Ando, has really endeared himself to this viewer. You can’t deny the great rapport Ando has with his cohort. He and Hiro are a natural fit… much like myself, Hayden Panettiere, a romantic Italian restaurant and a nice bottle of red wine. Yes, I’m 28.

HeroesFanatic: You know what they say: Bros before hos… and wussy drunks that pretend to be Samurai warriors. Ando is the choice.
